2.1 Accessing Sample Teradata Parallel Transporter scripts

2.1 Accessing the Sample Scripts provided with TPT.

When TPT is installed there are some sample scripts that come along with the installation. We should use these scripts as basis of creating jobs.

1. On Unix system the sample directory is installed in the same directory as Teradata PT.

Default directory is /opt/teradata/client/<version>/tbuild/sample/etl

This can be different on each installation.

On my installation following is the directory:

/apps/tpt13.1/teradata/client/13.10/tbuild/sample/etl

Following are the list of the sample scripts in my installation directory. Probably it is the same globally

GT11.txt     GT44.txt     GT62.txt     GT93.txt     GT94.txt     GT95.txt     GT96.txt     GT97.txt     jobvars.txt

2. On Windows system the sample directory is installed in the same directory as Teradata PT. The default directory is:

C:\Program Files\Teradata\Client\<version>\Teradata Parallel Transporter\sample\etl
